Controlling, meddelsome in-laws want to crash our vacation... Help!?

Living overseas, away from family and friends hasn't been easy. Having overbearing, imposing in-laws who put constant pressure on and pre-plan all of our free time has made it almost unbearable. However, for the sake of my daughter and husband's happiness, I have tried as much as possible to be positive and accomodating if only to keep the peace. However, I'm thinking I might blow. I have just found out, after planning a lovely 2 week pressure free vacation (the first for my husband and I alone without any family, and the very first with our baby) for which I have been super excited for, that my in-laws are trying to take time off work so that they can join us... What what what???? Who invited them? All of our free time seems to be theirs... how can my wonderful vacation be theirs too? I want to be respectful and polite but how do I avoid this? I'm no longer excited to go and actually dread the thought.

So I got on Pointe in June and have been taking a pointe cl once a week and a partnering cl on pointe. My Achilles starts hurting after a while on pointe. I've had a little bit of trouble with my achilles when I used to play soccer, but I dont know if thats related to this. 1977 Ford F100 dies out when given gas?

well its a FordF100 with a 351 V8. It starts just fine runs awesome. but whenver i give it gas like a lil more than 1/4 it makes a popping noise maybe a sputter then wants to die if i held it there.But if i slowly give into it she revs right up. another thing is that it idles high then when i tap the gas it idles lower.then if i tap it again it idles high..... what would this be? like a choke cuz whenever i tap it then give it gas when the idle is high it revs right up everytime.sorry if this sounds complicated Thanks!!!

My daycare was evicted this morning, what should I do?(not kidding)?

I arrived at day care this morning to find it boarded up. The provider explained they were evicted. I just started a new job and so did my hubby and we cannot afford to miss work at all. Considering this is mively inconvenient and a huge problem for us, our kids and other parents are there any protection for the parents? I mean they had to have some idea of the impending outcome. The house was built in the 1890's and probably last had its electrical updated in the 40s. No knob and tube wiring, but there is fabric wrapped rubber. Two floors, tiny attic, and a basement. Each floor is roughly 900 sq ft. Off the top of my head I think there are 11 outlets (almost all two prong, the ones that were converted to 3 prong aren't grounded past the metal box) and 6 light switches on the ground floor, and since the upstairs has almost an identical floor plan (duplex), I would ume the same up there, but not positive.

Yes gas is high because of the war and probobly the middleeast oil nations are chargeing so they say alot. Yet oil companies are having record profits. Making older kids help out (19)???

Ok..kind of long, but I am just at a standstill with my own mind. My 19yo(20 in a month) daughter had moved out when she was 18, stayed out for a year and then moved back home. My problem is this...She works the pm shift in a nursing home, so from 2-10; comes home, and goes to get her bf, who doesn't have a license, and who was living with her; then comes back home goes to bed, and doesn't get up until 10:30, takes a shower, and then goes to get bf to go out for lunch!!? EVERYDAY! I run a small daycare out of my home, and some mornings I don't get up early enough to take a shower in the morning, so I ask her to sit with the one baby(sleeping) while I take one....she tells me 'no, I don't want to'; then huffs, and says go take it, just hurry up before I have to take mine to go out to lunch. She does nothing around her..I pay her to do dishes, if I ask her to go to the store for me, she has a FIT!! So I am thinking of telling her that things need to change, she needs to help out here

My boss is a complete bully. Whenever I make a mistake, rather than attempty to help me she tells me what an inconvenience I am to her and the department. I heard it every day last week. We are now must clock in and out for lunch (even though we are salary) and even though we are open 9-5 we are expected to work nights and weekends. My boss was filling in for another employee who was on maternity leave and therefore was not around for a few weeks, she told me that our department was "a chaotic mess" without her. I took much offense to the comment and shared it with a co-worker. The co-worker, also offended approached out boss and told her she did not appreciate the comment. The boss then came back to me and said that was the last time she would ever tell me anything in confidence, and not to trust any of my co-workers because they will rat me out in a heartbeat. That comment also offended me and a few days later I asked my co-worker who said when she told our boss she was told "a chaotic mess" was never said. The job is making me physically sick. Everyday I want to quit on the spot, but I am the sole provider in my family and cannot afford to do so. I've thought about going to our director but I'm afraid he'll tell her to knock it off and she'll make my life more miserable. It's also not just me she does it to everyone in my department and everyone else feels the same way, I guess they are just stronger. I find myself sobbing in the bathroom stahl by the end of the day. I have been frantically searching for a new job but it is not easy to get time off for job interviews. Any advice would be helpful.

Hypalon is super tough and known to last for a really long time. Definitely do an air test over night to check for leaks. Stick close to shore initially... you will have a pretty good idea right off the bat if there are any issues. What should I do about my friend?

I have a friend who is really nice and funny and were alike in how we love the out doors, reading, we are both against pollution and are gonna do some work at a river near by, and we are both easily distracted which makes us laugh a bit. But at points I get turned off by her because she curses a lot. I mean I've gotten used to it but it bugs me. And also at points she gets destructive if she is bored. I mean my brother had this really expensive turn table and she broke a piece off of it! She didn't even say sorry! And another time I had this nice roll on perfume and she just starts to roll tons and tons of it on without asking, and then once she spilled this little fish tank I have (not with real fish thankfully) and she just laughed. It had been spilled over these forms I kinda wanted (I adopted a sea turtle, I saved one thing though). And today she left a bloody pad on the floor of my room! I have pale yellow carpet and luckily it didn't stain with a red blotch! She just does these things that irritate me so much that at points I want to scream at her. She is also REALLY loud. She has one of those obnoxious screechy laughs and its what 10:00 and my older sister has the SATS tomorrow and she might be keeping her up! I tell her to whisper but she doesn't. Im not sure If I am tired and grumpy but I just get so annoyed by her. I mean, I don't sound like a nice friend I know, we are good friends and its not nice to talk about her like that but if you were me you'd understand! 2006 honda shadow 1100 cylinder problem?

this thing only has 162 miles on it. the front cylinder has no combustion (or at least not steady combustion). here is what is going on. carbs were varnished and totally plugged up. removed carbs. disembled soaked over night clean all ports and reembled correctly. drained tank. put in new 93 octane along with sea foam. reinstalled carbs and bike fired right up where as before it would not even start. now it is missing on the front cylinder. dont know if it was missing prior to the work i have done cause it aint my bike. so with the bike running i can remove either plug wire from the front cylinder and there is no change in the way it runs. i can remove both and it keeps running and still no change in the way it runs...(note it skips continuously not just when the wires are removed). now i can remove both rear plug wires and the engine will die. now i do know it is getting fuel cause fuel is on the plugs when i remove them, it is getting spark, and it has 160 psi of compression. it sounds like to me there should be combustion happening. now that other odd thing is that while running about every 3 or 4 seconds there is a back fire and blue flame in the exhaust pipe of the front cylinder which leads me to think it is combusting occasionally. hope u guys can help

I just bought a speed bag, 60 lb bag heavy bag, hand wraps, a jumprope, gloves, and 15 lb dumbbells. havent been in shape in years. i want to gradually build stamina, get bigger, more cut, faster, better hand eye coordination and eventually spar when i decide to join a gym. Ive been trying to find someone to work out with and i can get punching mitts but im still on the search for someone. i work 40 hours a week, sleep late on weekends want to work out every sunday, since its my only day off. My feelings being best in cl is very cool and my clmates would respect me and the teachers trust me so much but there's one thing i hate being best in cl and that is when people expect me too answer questions that's too difficult and your clmates trust you so much and they have expectations are very high. I'll explain for example your the top notcher in cl and in science (science is one of the major difficulties subject) the teacher asks a difficult question and she counted 1 - 5 without letting the students think first (because your section is pilot section a.k.a. smartest section) and your classmates though you could answer the question directly because you're the top 1 and you didn't know the answer and the counting was already zero and you all got zero points for the activity and after class your classmates blames you for that incident.( sorry for the long explanation)

Guitar string always sounds nasty?

Track season starts soon for me and I need some advice on how to get back in shape? I am a sprinter and I will be running 2 sprints, doing relay, and the softball throw. To sanitize I'd recommend just soaking them in Iodine or bleach (preferably Iodine since bleach can have many more harmful chemicals involved, though they both work just as well). Either one you use, I suggest thoroughly rinse the scissors before actually using them, since the mom will probably be doing a lot of licking and those chemicals won't do her any good.

I think anyone over 14 can have a say in it. Ultimately it's up to the parents though. Well I went to the Dr. Tuesday, and he said I had strep no doubt about it, he didn't do any tests at all, but my lymph nodes in my neck were swollen like no other, and so were my tonsils. When I cough and bring up any mucus or anything, it is basically pure blood, and my parents say its cause of the strep but looking online from places like Web MD and the likes no place says anything about coughing up blood because of strep throat. I was an LPN and retired from a state job after 33 yrs. with a good pension. But, the truth is, it really depends on how much money you have to put into your education, how much available time do you have,how committed are you to a profession and how much money do you want to make when you are done. Only you know the answer to these questions. You will make much more as a Licensed LPN than you will as a CNN or CNA, if we are speaking about the same thing. The more money and time you invest, the more you will make when you are done with your education. A Doctor will make much more than a Registered Nurse, but he has put a lot more time and money in too, so evaluate your resources and time and desire, and go from there.

Ok, I will say it. I HATE anagramed and reversed names for twins. It just makes me think that parents couldn't think of anything better so they reversed or scrambled the letters. With that being said... I like the names with opposite meanings. I really like Aliyah and Jordan. So my girlfriend absolutely drives me nuts sometimes. There are two things she does that just get under my skin. First she text messages people like there is no tomorrow. How the heck do i get this to work?

Okay so, my laptop is always being a pain in the [bleep] but usually i can manage to fix it myself. But now I'm just going crazy. A few weeks ago this microsoft lifecam that ive been using to video chat with my boyfriend just stopped working. Few people got a job at childrens hospital in pittsburgh which I think is one of the better hospitals in the country as a Graduate Nurse. So no, I wouldn't think so. Doesn't hurt to ask a hospital in the area. It's not like a law or anything though. It's just where you work. Some Operating Rooms want certificates beyond nursing school. This morning I woke up and my throat was a bit scratchy. Just thought it was from my room being so dry. gsr and ls headers are pretty close to being the same. the gsr flow's a little better. put the intake with the CARB sticker on it, in the car. if the car has the original ls motor in it, ditch the vtec controller and sell it. if it DOES have a swapped motor in it, if i am not mistaken, it can not be a jdm motor. it has to be usdm. the easiest way to check this, is look at the block stamp. its beside the transmission sticker under the head. it will say B18B1 for an ls, or B18C1 for a gsr. B18C5 for a type r. for jdm motors, they will not have a number after the second letter ie: B18B. as for having a swap in it, i don't see why it wouldn't p. i have friends in california with H22 swaps in their eg hatches, and they p the emissions stuff out there.

In my experience, radiologists tend to miss things - they said my ovaries were clear. If I were you, I'd go to a gynae for a trans-l u/s. It shows much more. On my u/s, the functional cyst on my left ovary was a large, oval-ish black m, and the polycystic right ovary was covered in lots of white ciercles. Hope this helps!

Car is a '96 Mercury Sable. I just recently put it back on the road not even 3 months ago. I had an e-test and safety done and they both came back clean. Nothing was wrong. But just the other day I was at a red light and it turned off. When I turned it back on the battery and oil light came on. I checked both and they were fine. What do doctors check for when doing routine blood work?

My mom has had lower back pain (not bad) for about 2 months. She had an xray Monday and they called her Tuesday and told her they saw subtle abnormalities on the xray. They wanted her have blood work and urine test done to test for bone cancer (multiple myeloma). I guess my question is, is she had routine blood work 4 months ago and everything came out fine. She has never had any trouble with her bones and her back doesn't hurt everyday...just sometimes. If it was really cancer wouldn't it hurt all the time? And wouldn't her blood work have come back with some abnormalities? I'm just really confused right now! Please help!!

New Husky is very aggressive?

My husband and I have a one year old male husky and thought it would be a wonderful idea to get another as a playmate. The new husky is a year and a half and is now getting along wonderfully with our husky. But there is a problem. He attacks every other dog he meets. He recently went after a friends male and drew blood. He is still very new to our home, less then a week, but his aggression is making me nervous. He is neutered and understands my husband is the dominant male in the household. What can I do to help with the aggression?

Oil is at a record high and showing no signs of stopping, groceries have gone up and are still climbing, the cost of mortgages is back on the rise, even though people are losing their houses at a record rate, and belive it or not the county I live in just raised the taxes 4 times the amount. Are there different kinds of Dyslexia?

My daughter started kindergarten this year and was the perfect student. Now that they are working with numbers she is very frustrated and is acting up in cl. While the other kids are counting to 50 she can't get past 10. The teacher told me the other day that she now believes my daughter has a learning disability. Isn't dyslexia a problem with letters and words not numbers? She is very gifted when it comes to arts (music, drawing, etc) but certain things like math set her off emotionally.

ercup is about 14 weeks old and is 15 lbs right now. She seems kinda small for a german shepherd, so I'm uming that she must be australian shepherd (we're not sure - she from the pound). The lab part is definite. She has a very silky solid black coat and everyone said she looked like a full breed lab when we got her at 8 weeks. Now we're definitely seeing more shepherd (I guess) - ears are more perky, snout longer, etc. She's a great puppy - whatever she is and however big she gets!

3D Studio Max 7 question?

When I select something the x,y, and z axis is always shown, in the center of the object I selected, extending out in their proper directions (its not the image at the bottom left of the xyz). I used to be able to select a specific one and click and drag it so that it would be restricted to that axis. Each axis would have a specific color. But now, the axis shown are all red. I can't restrict movement, scale, or anything to a specifict axis. I can't move anything exact. I checked the hot keys incase I pressed one and I didn't see anything. Any experts? can you help?

Ok, here is the details to my question, i have in my add and remove programs both 'J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 2' and 'Java(TM) 6 update 16', i have wondered this for awhile but never came to ask in here, i always tried and google it but never find a legitimate answer. So anyway, i notice both javas when i run hijackthis and look in files and folders, but for example, when i run hijackthis it shows all types of java aplications, i mean the 5 and 6 but theres like 4 or 5 different areas there in. Ok, so my main question which is long overdue and sorry for that but i need to know do i need BOTH Java programs i mentioned in the beginning of this message. I really dont think i do, but im just afraid if i get rid of the 5.0 then some programs wont run right or at all. I need to know not only if i need both but if the Java 6 will take over for all programs that use the 5.0 if that makes any sense.
