Is it legal to put cameras in pub toilet cubicles?

I help run a busy town centre pub and we have had a number of occasions when someone has been defecating on the cubicle floor right next to the toilet pan in the gents toilet. Is it illegal to put up a camera so we can catch this dirty sod?
