Is my goldfish a white supremacist?

Just the other week, I bought a whitish goldfish. I also have a few other black and a few other white fish in the same tank. Before my most recent purchase, the black and white fishes tended to always swim together. But for some reason, the white fish tend to stay away from the black fish on the other side of the tank now, and this new fish always seems to always be in the center of the little group. Should I be concerned about my new goldfish's bigotry?
