When is it worth getting a new videogame?

The disc itself may have some fingerprints or scratches. You don't have to worry about those if you bought a new one. Also, when my cousin bought DBRB2, he got a code to unlock broly and trunks. If you buy it used, you won't get to use the code. The code would probably used already or it might not even be included.
