Why politicians dont retire from politics on their own.They leave politics only when they are incapacitated.?

The politicians continue in politics till they are very old and continue to enjoy the power either governmental or organisational.There should be some retirement age for all politicians and they should make room for a fresh blood.There has to be some law or enactment in this regard to make changes in the world over.
