In borderlands what level do you have to be to face camerax?

i have been playin borderland for the past 2 week and i got the DLC called the secret armory of general knoxx and i looked at some videos on youtube on how to rank up and it said kill the crawmerax.i tried recently to get to the crawmerax but it wouldent teleport me so can you help me
