When will it stop hurting and start feeling good?

I've been married for about three months now. We both waited to have until our wedding night, which was extremely painful for me. It wasn't until about the fifth or sixth time that it stopped hurting so bad. Now, it still hurts to do it and it isn't pleasurable for me at all. We've tried and taking it slow but it still is uncomfortable. Is this normal? Will it ever feel good?
